Usage conditions for the Edu Boutique platform


The following is an update of the terms of use as of October 29, 2018. Thank you for carefully reading these conditions over as they encapsulate the entirety of your agreement with Edu Boutique.

1. User account

Set up


You must create an account for most of the features provided by the Edu-Performance Canada online store, including for all purchases and to have access to training programs.

The service is for adults aged 18 and over. By accepting the terms and conditions of use, you represent us and certify that you are over 18.

When creating and maintaining your account and the overall purchase process, you must provide complete and accurate information and a valid email address.

Please note that the acquisition of a course licence is only granted for one person over the duration of the licence as indicated in the acquisition contract.



Conditions of use


You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and your password. Edu Boutique will not be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from non-compliance with this security obligation.

Your username can only be used by one person and your password must remain confidential. Edu Boutique will not intervene in case of conflicts between people using the same account login credentials.

We are not responsible should you disclose or share your personal data with others. If you think that someone is using your personal data, you must inform us as soon as possible.

You have decided to use our services and therefore to accept the legal terms of use of Edu Boutique. To do so you must not under any circumstances:

  • Attempt to access or damage spaces on our platform or computer systems strictly reserved for Edu Boutique.
  • Just as you are not allowed to try to circumvent any security feature of our platform or to test the vulnerability of any of our systems.

In addition, it is prohibited to use the services for:

  • Sending incorrect or false information.
  • Hindering or disrupting access to any user, host or network.
  • Send a virus or conduct attacks against platforms or the service is strictly prohibited.


Closing your account


In the event that you wish to permanently close your Edu Boutique account, you must send a request to the support team ( from the email address linked to your account.

If you have made purchases within the last 7 days from the request to close your account, you will be refunded.

2. Access to training programs

You can subscribe to all the training programs available on the Edu Boutique pages that are suitable for you (free or paid).

Some training programs may not be available in certain countries under agreements with our partners and suppliers. In such cases, restricted training programs are not visible in the product catalogue and shop pages.

When you sign up for a course, you get a temporary viewing licence through the services of the online store without further use. The access period (licence) is specified in the description of each training program.

The licence does not give you the right to share or resell training programs, including sharing account information with a buyer.


3. Pricing and taxes

All prices can be shown in Canadian dollars, US dollars and euros depending on your preference. They are subject to change without notice.

Applicable taxes displayed are not included and depend on your location.

  • If you live outside Canada, you will not pay taxes.
  • Residents of Quebec will have to pay the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the Quebec Sales Tax (QST).
  • Residents of Canada outside Quebec will be required to pay Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) as applicable.

The total cost of your purchase will be indicated on your order confirmation at the end of the online payment process.

4. Payement

The choice of different payment methods available by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or PayPal.

The online store does not record any banking information. Payment by credit card is perfectly secure. For further information, consult our privacy policy.

If your transaction fails, but you receive access to the course and you do not receive a subsequent payment request, you must contact us immediately to make your payment or your registration will be suspended.

5. Refunds and credit

If the training program purchased does not meet your expectations, two choices are available to you:

  1. The refund of your purchase, within the limit of 24 hours following the confirmation of your purchase by notifying us by email, is the date of the given deadline. We will then be able to issue a refund at our discretion based on the payment processing capabilities of PayPal and Moneris, which may take up to 15 days.
  2.  The granting of a credit allowing you to register for another training of your choice at a price equivalent to the training program purchased.

To request a refund/credit or replacement registration, please send a request to the support team ( (links to contact us) from the email address linked to your account.

6. Content and conduct rules

Publication of comments

Comments and usage: It is possible to publish a comment on one of our products previously purchased using the space provided for this purpose in the platform.

All comments issued will be verified before being published on Edu Boutique. We do not accept inappropriate, incorrect or insulting comments. In this regard, we reserve the right to read your opinion before publishing it.


Responsibility for comments

In case of derogatory or harassing comments, Edu Boutique reserves the right to take legal action against you.

7. Limitations of liability

We do not guarantee that our online store will meet your requirements and expectations, and that the use of the service will be continuous, without default and error-free. We will not be held responsible for any service interruptions that may occur as a result of an electrical failure or other inconvenience that we have no control over such as a platform security issue. From a legal standpoint, the service we offer and the content available on our platform are provided “as is” and “as available”.

Our platform may require maintenance that could result in a temporary service interruption. You will then be informed about the return to normal functionality in such cases.

The use of our platform is entirely at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any use not described in the conditions of use and which could lead to operational problems.

We reserve the right to modify the architecture of our platform at any time for any reason as long as your access to the courses is not compromised and corresponds to your terms of use as subscribed to at time of purchase.

8. Copyrights

Our contents are protected by the intellectual property code of the respective content authors. You may not use our content outside the terms of this agreement, reproduce them in any way, or distribute them to others on an individual or public basis.

No reproduction of any part of Edu Boutique’s site whatsoever may be sold or distributed for the purpose of commercial profit, modified or integrated with any other work or publication or any other website. This copyright covers all texts, images, logos and other elements appearing on our Edu Boutique website, and are used with the permission of the content owners in question.

In case of non-compliance with copyright conditions, you expose yourself to legal ramifications.

Our conditions will be updated periodically. We may add or remove features or functions at any time.
