French: Post-Intermediate (B2)

After completion of the course you will have developed the following skills: Receptive Skills: Listening – You can understand lectures and speeches long enough and even follow a complex argument if the subject is relatively familiar to you. You will be able to understand most TV shows on news and information. You will be able to understand most standard language movies. Reading – You will read articles and reports on contemporary issues in which the authors adopt a particular attitude or point of view. You will be able to understand a contemporary literary text in prose. Productive skills : Speaking Interaction : – You can communicate with a degree of spontaneity and ease that makes possible a normal interaction with a native speaker. You will be able to actively participate in a conversation in familiar situations, present and defend your opinions. Speaking Production  – You will be able to communicate with a degree of spontaneity and ease that makes possible a normal interaction with a native speaker. Writing  – You will be able to write clear and detailed texts on a wide range of topics related to your interests. You can write an essay or report by passing on information or giving reasons for or against a particular opinion. You can write letters that highlight the meaning you personally attribute to events and experiences.
